Welcome to the Flint Flyer R/C Club web site! We started the club in the Spring of 2003. We are always looking for new members to join. Our flying field is located in the Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park. The field has been open to guests for many, many years and we are privileged to get the opportunity to continue to fly at this location. We welcome new members regardless of experience. We are capable of teaching brand new pilots to learn to fly via a "buddy cord" setup. This approach enables you to concentrate on your controlled inputs rather than worrying about crashing your new investment. In order to increase the club size and get more people involved in the sport (addiction) of flying R/C, we now have annual dues to cover related costs associated with an organized flying environment. You must have an active AMA membership to join our club as well as to fly at the GA Veteran State Park field. Guests, may fly at the field at anytime, but the club meets on Sunday afternoons if the weather is permitting. Come join us and have a great time of fun & fellowship!!!!
