2ND Annual Veterans Day Fly-In

November 12 and 13, 2005

 Georgia Veterans State Park

Well, this year the weather was perfect!  We had 35 registered pilots and planes were in the air constantly. Special thanks to all who participated and especially to Mac Hodges for flying the B-29 and to Dan Stevens for flying the X-1 at our field.  They made some awesome flights as usual and wowed plenty of spectators.

Buddy Curtis - Still trying to learn how to hover! (ha)

Mac Hodges & Dan Stevens - Putting the "wow" factor in for all of the spectators!

Jay Roobin flew his 40% Edge 540 and really "wrung it out" despite the fact that his knees were shaking a little.

Radio Impound - "Big" Jimmy was hard at work!

Trying to figure out the most reliable way to pack the chute.

This job now belongs to my wife Angie.  She is the official "Chute Rigger"
